I first felt a calling to plant a church when I was 20 years old. Seven years later, that dream came to fruition. Surprisingly, the biggest obstacle wasn’t fundraising, branding, or even my lack of experience or education. It was the constant refrain from older leaders: “Maybe when you’re older.”
What Are You Waiting For? is my attempt to inspire this next generation of Kingdom leaders.
Even if you’re not in the target demographic, I believe this book will offer something valuable to you. What Are You Waiting For? is also a great resource for older leaders looking to mentor the next generation. I've heard stories of multigenerational groups reading the book together and sparking new conversations about calling and Kingdom purpose.

Young people have the capacity to make a difference now, but they don’t always know it. Sadly, many young adults today move through their twenties and still have trouble #adulting. What Are You Waiting For? motivates young leaders to start leading in God’s kingdom today so that they don’t miss out on some of their most significant years of impact.
You don’t have to wait to change the world. I was by far the youngest in the room when I volunteered to lead a church plant in Boise, ID. Today, that congregation is thriving, with a powerful vision for kingdom multiplication. You don’t want to wait to lean into significance until your most energetic years are behind you.
What Are You Waiting For? will help you:
-
Leverage seven strengths you already have and build upon them.
-
Identify leadership weaknesses and learn how to grow in those areas.
-
Implement healthy life rhythms that allow you to make a difference for years to come.
